The Sino-European Foundation of Chinese Culture and Education was established in Hungary to aid the development of Sino-European cultural relations, at a time when exchanges between nations and cultures became greatly important especially to academic and cultural institutions.
The foundation’s main purpose is to further the development of cultural, educational, and research programs between China and European countries. Through various cultural events, academic programs, and folk exchanges, the Foundation aims to bring China closer to Europe while also introducing China’s achievements to the region.
Within culture, arts, and research the Foundation provides substantial assistance in communication, and also promotes Chinese and Hungarian language education, with the aim to foster meaningful relationships between scholars, academics, artists, researchers, and scientists. The Foundation also lends a helping hand to research and development projects.
The Foundation regards one of its most basic roles to aid organisations and projects in the field of Sino-European culture and to assist them in reaching their goals. The Foundation lends a helping hand in organizing various programs which grant the opportunity to establish self-training groups and courses highlighting the beauty of art and culture.
